Ben is our executive chef. He grew up in New York City and trained at the French Culinary Institute. With more than 20 years of experience working with top chefs around the world, his love for rustic European breads and pastries shows in every bite.
Heather, our general manager, has 15 years of restaurant experience. She is from Kentucky and brings a touch of southern warmth to how we care for both visitors and locals alike. Ben and Heather believe in serving honest, wholesome food made with ingredients you can pronounce. They support local, buying from Nantucket merchants and farms whenever possible.
When they aren’t baking, the Woodburys enjoy island life with their two daughters.
All items are made in small batches from our chef’s personal recipes. When crafting new recipes, we welcome the opportunity to take advantage of all of the local bounty of our island, the Cape, and New England. We strive to use local ingredients in our seasonal menu items.
At Wicked Island, we use only pure butter in all of our pastries, cakes, pies & cookies.
For all of the chocolate lovers out there, Wicked uses only the finest Belgian chocolate, which gives our recipes an extra punch of rich and decadent flavor.
